Minor Hotels expands Dubai presence with strategic management of Dukes The Palm on Palm West Beach

UAE – Minor Hotels, a global hotel owner, operator, and investor, has signed a strategic hotel management agreement to operate the prominent beachfront property Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, located on Dubai’s iconic Palm West Beach.

Effective August 1, 2025, this addition further strengthens Minor Hotels’ growing footprint in the UAE and establishes the group as the largest operator on the Palm Jumeirah’s Trunk.

The agreement, made in collaboration with luxury residential and hospitality developer Seven Tides, brings Dukes The Palm under Minor Hotels’ management portfolio, which already includes the neighbouring NH Collection Dubai The Palm and Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort.

With this latest acquisition, Minor Hotels’ total key count on Palm Jumeirah rises to 1,524 across three properties, solidifying its dominant position on the Trunk.

Dukes The Palm offers 273 hotel rooms and suites alongside 287 serviced apartments featuring studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts, catering to both short-stay guests and long-term residents.

The property boasts six distinctive dining venues, including a specialty restaurant, pool bar, and beachside lounge, providing a variety of culinary experiences.

Guests also enjoy access to a private beach, an indoor pool, an outdoor infinity pool, a relaxing lazy river, a fully equipped gym, and extensive wellness and family-friendly facilities.

Located on the vibrant Palm West Beach, Dukes benefits from proximity to major attractions such as Nakheel Mall, Aquaventure Waterpark, and Ain Dubai, while being just a 30-minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

This prime location makes it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers seeking upscale amenities in one of Dubai’s most desirable lifestyle destinations.

The management transition marks a new chapter for Dukes The Palm, which has been managed by Barcelo Hotel Group for the past six years.

This strategic move aligns with Minor Hotels’ broader expansion plans in the UAE, where it currently operates 17 properties under five brands.

The company continues to accelerate its growth, aiming to add close to 300 hotels globally by the end of 2027.
