Set against the city’s dazzling skyline, the grand opening was a theatrical affair, featuring everything from harpists and stilt walkers to live DJs, fire performers, and mirror dancers, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that matched the venue’s dramatic flair.

UAE – COCO Restaurant & Lounge, a unique new concept by NazCorp, has launched in Downtown Dubai with a dazzling celebrity-filled opening, featuring a 360-degree glass terrace with Burj Khalifa views and botanical interiors inspired by the legendary Hanging Gardens and its London roots.

COCO, the acclaimed dining concept born in London, has made a bold entrance in Dubai with an extravagant launch attended by over 600 guests, including celebrities, influencers, and media personalities.

Set against the city’s dazzling skyline, the grand opening was a theatrical affair, featuring everything from harpists and stilt walkers to live DJs, fire performers, and mirror dancers, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that matched the venue’s dramatic flair.

The event drew a vibrant mix of guests, with appearances from digital personalities like Joseph Alayoubi, Jumana Abdu Rahman, and Nadir Bin Nasir, as well as public figures such as Tam Khan and cricketers Chirag Suri and Anshh Taandon.

The rare presence of Andrew and Tristan Tate also added an unexpected twist to the evening’s guest list.

On arrival, attendees were welcomed with elegant spreads of fresh fruit, cheeses, and non-alcoholic fruit champagne, while harp melodies filled the air.

Inside, COCO revealed its layered, immersive spaces designed for diverse occasions.

Guests explored the elegant Dome Room anchored by a striking Winged Victory sculpture, the discreet Green Room tailored for private meetings, and the plush Red Room offering lounge seating and a Redemption Bar with signature mocktails.

A glass-enclosed terrace provided panoramic views of the Burj Khalifa, blending fine dining with Dubai’s iconic backdrop.

At the heart of COCO is a menu crafted by two culinary heavyweights: MasterChef Maurizio, known for his role on MasterChef Indonesia, and Executive Chef Raheman, who brings a globally inspired touch to each dish.

The kitchen delivered an array of live-prepared specialties, from Tomahawk and Wagyu steak showcases to beetroot carpaccio, rainbow sushi, and kunafa served hot from a live station. Crowd favourites included the Dynamite Shrimp, Miso Glazed Black Cod, and the gold-leafed 24K Tomahawk.

Founder Naz Choudhury described the opening as a realisation of his vision to blend culinary theatre with refined hospitality in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

With live entertainment running into the early hours from Thursday to Sunday, and a prime location opposite The Dubai Mall, COCO is poised to become a defining name in Dubai’s upscale dining and nightlife scene.
