IHG to launch Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh by 2027

INDIA – IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming launch of a new Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, scheduled to open by 2027.

The hotel will be strategically positioned along National Highway 9, providing direct access to key business corridors such as Ghaziabad and Meerut.

This marks a significant milestone in IHG’s ongoing expansion strategy in India, particularly in rapidly developing tier-II and tier-III cities that are becoming hotspots for industrial, commercial, and travel activity.

The new-build property will feature 120 modern, well-appointed rooms designed to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers.

Guests can expect the brand’s signature experience, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a business centre, an all-day dining restaurant, a well-equipped fitness facility, and ample on-site parking.

With comfort, functionality, and convenience at its core, the hotel will cater to guests looking for a smart, efficient stay in a fast-growing urban setting.

A major highlight of the project is its integration into a larger mixed-use development that will include more than 75,000 square feet of space dedicated to the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment.

This extensive event infrastructure will be designed to accommodate a wide range of corporate events, trade shows, social functions, and government-related gatherings.

Such a facility is expected to meet the surging demand for international-standard venues in Hapur, which is emerging as a critical industrial and commercial hub in western Uttar Pradesh.

With the state government investing in infrastructure and connectivity, Hapur’s prominence as a manufacturing and logistics centre continues to grow.

The hotel’s location on a national highway makes it a strategic choice for both regional transit travellers and those visiting for business, trade, or conferences. It will also serve as a key stopover for companies operating across the NCR region.

This project reinforces IHG’s long-term commitment to India. Currently operating 47 hotels under six brands, IHG has an additional 60 properties under development across the country.
