ATS Travel partners with Payhound to accept cryptocurrency payments

This move enables clients to pay for airline tickets, luxury travel, holiday packages, and MICE services using leading cryptocurrencies.

MIDDLE EAST – Leading travel management company ATS Travel has partnered with Payhound, a regulated crypto payment provider, to enable cryptocurrency payments across its services.

ATS Travel has taken a pioneering step in the Middle East’s travel sector by becoming the first major travel management company in the region to integrate cryptocurrency payments for corporate and leisure travel services.

This move enables clients, including high-net-worth individuals across the Middle East, to pay for airline tickets, luxury travel, holiday packages, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) services using leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others.

This initiative sets a new industry standard, marking a first for a company of ATS Travel’s size and reputation in the region.

The adoption of digital currency payments is expected to enhance the customer experience by offering instant, secure transactions while bypassing the delays, high transaction fees, and exchange rate fluctuations associated with conventional banking systems.

By providing an alternative payment method, ATS Travel is catering to a growing segment of travelers who prefer the convenience and efficiency of digital assets.

The payment system is being facilitated by Payhound, a regulated provider based in Malta, known for enabling businesses to securely accept digital currency transactions.

Payhound ensures compliance with international financial regulations, providing a seamless and risk-mitigated approach to cryptocurrency payments.

The partnership guarantees a stable infrastructure, allowing ATS Travel to process payments smoothly without exposure to market volatility.

Khaled Ghubash, Managing Director of ATS Travel, highlighted the significance of this move, stating that once implemented, the partnership with Payhound will reinforce the company’s commitment to innovation and client-centric services.

He noted that cryptocurrency adoption is rising in the region, and offering this payment option aligns with evolving customer preferences.

Ghubash further emphasized that integrating cryptocurrency payments is not only a response to market demand but also a strategic move positioning ATS Travel as a leader in the travel industry’s digital transformation.

The company expects this initiative to create new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with its clientele.

As the travel industry embraces digital solutions, ATS Travel is positioning itself at the forefront of innovation, ensuring it remains competitive while meeting the evolving needs of modern travelers.
