SAUDI ARABIA – The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Al-Sheikh, announced that Riyadh Season 2024 has welcomed 19 million visitors since its launch in October.
The latest edition of Riyadh Season continues to attract visitors from both within the Kingdom and abroad, with its diverse zones experiencing high footfall, particularly Boulevard World, BLVD Runway, and Boulevard City.
Offering a variety of entertainment, artistic performances, and interactive experiences, these zones cater to all preferences, ensuring an engaging experience for every visitor.
Now in its fifth edition, Riyadh Season remains one of the region’s largest entertainment events, running from October 12 through March 2025.
The festival’s immense success is highlighted by reaching 19 million visitors, underscoring its global appeal with a mix of cultural, sporting, and entertainment offerings.
Guests can enjoy boxing, wrestling, international concerts, fine dining, lush gardens, and innovative attractions in newly introduced zones.
Thousands of events, including art exhibitions and theater performances, continue to draw audiences of all ages, with notable highlights such as the Dior exhibition and a record number of visitors at Al-Suwaidi Park.
Spanning 7.2 million square meters, Riyadh Season features 14 entertainment zones, 11 world championships, and 10 festivals and exhibitions.
Visitors can experience an exciting lineup of sporting events, from boxing and wrestling to tennis tournaments, alongside concerts and exclusive dining experiences.
Key locations include Boulevard World, Kingdom Arena, Boulevard City, The Venue, and Al-Suwaidi Park.
One of the standout moments of the season was the thrilling boxing match at Kingdom Arena, where Artur Beterbiev secured victory over Dmitry Bivol to claim the undisputed light heavyweight title.
Riyadh Season has also gained industry recognition, earning a gold award at the Effie Awards Festival for its 5V5 campaign in partnership with BigTime Creative Shop.
The recently launched “Dunes of Arabia” zone has been a major attraction for winter and camping enthusiasts, while BLVD Runway has drawn significant crowds of aviation fans.
The surge in attendance was further boosted by the mid-semester break, allowing visitors to explore the season’s wide-ranging events amid Riyadh’s pleasant weather.
