Gulfood 2025 welcomes Michelin icons, including Alain Ducasse, to Top Table

UAE – Gulfood, the world’s largest annual food and beverage sourcing event, returns with Top Table under the theme ‘Culinary Futurism,’ featuring Michelin-starred legend Alain Ducasse alongside global and UAE-based chefs boasting a combined 50 Michelin Stars.

Top Table will showcase renowned F&B personalities through live cooking demonstrations, masterclasses, and interactive activations over the five days of Gulfood, from February 17–21, 2025.

The event, held from 10 AM to 6 PM at Al Mustaqbal Plaza near the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), will set a new benchmark by bringing together leading culinary visionaries from around the world to share exclusive industry insights, pioneering cooking techniques, and groundbreaking F&B product discoveries.

It will explore how advancements in science, technology, and evolving consumer preferences influence food preparation, production, and dining while introducing new techniques, bold flavor pairings, and unconventional textures.

A lineup of globally acclaimed chefs will participate, including Alain Ducasse, owner of Ducasse Paris, who has been awarded 21 Michelin Stars, recognized with a Lifetime Achievement award on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants List, and holds a Guinness World Record for most Michelin Stars awarded to a living chef.

Romain Meder, Chef and Co-Founder of Prévelle in Paris and a key figure in Ducasse’s team, is known for pioneering Naturalité Cuisine and has earned 3 Michelin Stars and 1 Michelin Green Star.

Ángel León, Chef and owner of Aponiente in Spain, has been honored with 3 Michelin Stars, 1 Michelin Green Star, and 3 Knives from the Best Chef Awards.

Ana Roš, Chef and owner of Hiša Franko in Slovenia, has received 3 Michelin Stars, 1 Michelin Green Star, and 3 Knives from the Best Chef Awards.

Deepanker Kholsa, Chef and co-owner of Haoma in Thailand, has been awarded 1 Michelin Star, 1 Michelin Green Star, and 2 Knives from the Best Chef Awards, while Fredrik Berselius, Chef and owner of Aska in Brooklyn, New York, holds 2 Michelin Stars and 2 Knives from the Best Chef Awards.

Several accomplished UAE-based chefs will also be featured, including Mohamed Orfali, Head Chef and co-owner of Orfali Bros, who has been awarded 1 Michelin Star, 2 Toques by Gault & Millau, and 2 Knives from the Best Chef Awards.

Daniel Birk, Executive Chef at ROW ON 45, is a recipient of 2 Michelin Stars, 3 Toques by Gault & Millau, and 2 Knives from the Best Chef Awards.

Solemann Haddad, Head Chef and owner of Moonrise, has been awarded 1 Michelin Star, 1 Knife from the Best Chef Awards, and has been recognized as the winner of the Michelin Dubai Young Chef Award in 2022 and the Gault & Millau Future Great of the Year in 2022.

Ali Shiddique, Head Chef at LOWE, leads a restaurant that has been awarded the Michelin Green Star in 2022, 2023, and 2024 for its commitment to sustainable gastronomy.

In addition to the chef showcases, Top Table will feature exhibits highlighting industry innovations.

Blend Studio will host immersive masterclasses that explore the latest beverage trends, from artisanal cocktails to a reimagined coffee experience, providing networking opportunities with leading beverage professionals.
