Hyatt marks brand debut in Kenya with opening of Hyatt Regency Westlands, Nairobi

KENYA – Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands, its first Kenyan property, blending local culture with the brand’s signature hospitality.

Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands caters to diverse traveler preferences with 219 accommodations, including 147 guest rooms and suites alongside 72 apartments.

Each room balances comfort and practicality, featuring a 65″ smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and luxurious bath products. Guests can also enjoy an in-room coffee maker, tea station, mini fridge, and dedicated workspace, ensuring convenience and relaxation. 

The interior design draws inspiration from Africa’s vibrant landscapes, incorporating earthy tones and warm hues to create a tranquil and inviting ambiance reflective of the continent’s natural beauty. 

Dining at Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands is a culinary journey blending local and international flavors. District 6 Bar offers a vibrant setting for evening relaxation, complete with an extensive beverage menu, a selection of international and local dishes, and a terrace providing stunning sunset views.

At E.A.T., the all-day dining restaurant, guests can savor a fusion of African, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisines. For coffee, tea, and light bites, The Atrium serves premium Kenyan brews, snacks, and desserts in a cozy café environment. 

Wellness amenities at the hotel include a state-of-the-art fitness center spanning 2,906 square feet (270 square meters), a 1,506-square-foot (140-square-meter) Aerobic Studio offering various fitness classes led by expert trainers, and a serene indoor pool on the seventh floor with open walls for natural sunlight and city views.

Nearby residents can opt for fitness memberships that include access to the pool, steam room, sauna, and personalized training sessions. 

For business and events, the hotel offers extensive meeting facilities, including 10 versatile spaces equipped with cutting-edge audiovisual technology.
