Marriott International names Maria Turkmani as Multi-Property Marketing, PR manager for Al Jaddaf Cluster in Dubai

In her new position, Turkmani will lead marketing and communications for Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf, Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf, and Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Creek.

UAE – Marriott International has named Maria Turkmani as Multi-Property Marketing & PR Manager for its Al Jaddaf and Dubai Creek cluster, signaling a sharper focus on storytelling-led growth and guest engagement in Dubai.

Strategic appointment for Al Jaddaf cluster

In her new role, Turkmani will oversee marketing and communications for Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf, Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Creek.

She is mandated to drive strategic visibility for the three properties, sharpen their positioning in Dubai’s competitive upper-upscale and extended-stay segments, and deepen guest engagement across business and leisure travel.

The appointment reflects Marriott’s intent to treat the Al Jaddaf cluster as a unified platform, with cohesive messaging, aligned campaigns and more efficient use of digital and offline channels.

Elevating brand storytelling and partnerships

Turkmani is expected to lean into creative brand campaigns that highlight the cluster’s location advantages, product mix and long-stay offering, while humanising the properties through stories about associates, local culture and resident guests.

A key focus will be forging innovative partnerships with lifestyle, corporate and destination stakeholders—such as wellness brands, F&B collaborators and event organisers—to generate new demand streams and cross-promotional opportunities.

Community engagement will sit alongside commercial goals, positioning the cluster as an active part of the Al Jaddaf and Dubai Creek neighbourhood fabric rather than a purely transactional hotel group.

Track record in luxury hospitality marketing

With more than 10 years’ experience in PR, marketing and luxury hospitality, Turkmani brings a background in integrated campaigns that combine media relations, social storytelling, influencer collaborations and performance-driven digital activity.

At Al Habtoor City Hotel Collection, she managed communications for three high-profile properties, supporting revenue growth and reputation-building in a competitive mixed-use environment that blends hotels, residences and entertainment.

That multi-asset exposure is directly relevant to Marriott’s Al Jaddaf and Dubai Creek portfolio, where hotel and executive apartment products must be marketed in tandem to corporate clients, families and long-stay guests.

Leadership endorsement and future outlook

Commenting on the appointment, Saad Al Ghamdi, Multi-Property General Manager for the cluster, framed Turkmani’s arrival as an opportunity to “redefine how we engage with our guests and partners,” emphasising her innovative mindset and collaborative style as catalysts for meaningful growth.
