UAE – On November 30, 2025, the Fast Food & Café Convention (FFCC) took place in Dubai for its fifth edition, solidifying its role as the premier forum for the quick service, café, casual dining, and cloud kitchen industries across the Middle East.
Since its inception in 2021, FFCC has transformed into a vital event, bringing together over 1,500 delegates, 65 industry leaders, 35+ innovators, and representatives from more than 750 brands.
This year’s gathering emphasized practical insights and strategic dialogue over formal speeches.
The program explored critical topics such as driving profitability in the evolving platform economy, harnessing technology and data to improve operational efficiency, and balancing creativity with commercial viability—key challenges for modern dining businesses.
New additions in 2025 included the Level Up platform, which highlighted early-stage F&B startups through seven fully sponsored booths, and the Full Circle mentorship initiative, pairing emerging talent with experienced industry veterans.
Attendees also participated in targeted roundtables and one-on-one sessions aimed at problem-solving and fostering collaborations.
George Mohan, FFCC Co-Founder, highlighted the event’s mission of connecting innovative minds and catalyzing sustainable growth. Organized by Oddbox, FFCC continues to be the driving force shaping the future of dining in the GCC and beyond.
The Middle East has seen a surge in fast food and hospitality-focused events that complement FFCC’s mission of industry growth and innovation.
Notable among these is the annual Gulf Food Exhibition, held in Dubai, which attracts thousands of food service professionals and showcases the latest trends, technologies, and products transforming regional dining.
The event fosters collaboration among suppliers, restaurateurs, and tech innovators, promoting sector advancement across the GCC.
Similarly, the International Coffee and Tea Festival Dubai gathers leading beverage brands and equipment manufacturers, emphasizing specialty drink innovations—an increasingly critical segment in fast casual and café concepts.
The Hotel Show Dubai also provides crucial networking and educational opportunities for fast food chains and casual dining operators, highlighting evolving consumer expectations and operational excellence.
Collectively, these events reflect the Middle East’s rapidly expanding fast food landscape, driven by dynamic consumer demand, technological adoption, and a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem. As the sector scales, such platforms are vital to sustaining innovation and competitive edge within this vibrant market.
