EUROPE – TRIBE Hotels, the modern and design-focused brand under IHG Hotels & Resorts, has announced it is set to open nine new properties across Europe by 2028.
This rapid expansion highlights growing demand for well-designed, affordable hotels in major cities including Krakow, Paris, Budapest, Ljubljana, and more.
Launched in 2017, TRIBE Hotels seamlessly blend comfort and functionality with a minimalist, locally inspired design aesthetic, tailored for today’s business and leisure travelers.
Every hotel integrates cultural elements to create a refreshing and authentic yet modern experience.
TRIBE Krakow Old Town, which opened in July 2025, is inspired by the cult TV show Twin Peaks and the cinematic style of David Lynch.
This 168-room hotel features a coffee bar, pan-Asian restaurant, wellness area, and meeting rooms, allowing guests to enjoy Krakow’s rich history with a unique design twist.
TRIBE Budapest Airport, opened in May 2025 near Liszt Ferenc International Airport, offers 167 rooms, five meeting rooms, a rooftop bar, and a fitness center.
It is among Hungary’s first BREEAM-certified hotels, highlighting its commitment to sustainable design and guest comfort.
The June 2025 debut of TRIBE Paris Pantin situates guests near La Villette’s cultural hub. It includes 131 rooms, a Social Hub with an Italian restaurant, a gym, and modern meeting spaces adjacent to Philharmonic halls and concert venues.
Other new projects include TRIBE Montpellier Gare Sud de France, featuring 120 rooms, a rooftop bar, and swimming pool accessible from the train station.
TRIBE Reims Centre will add 92 rooms and a rooftop terrace overlooking the iconic Reims Cathedral.
Upcoming TRIBE openings also include Den Haag Centraal in late 2025, with 159 rooms and business-oriented meeting rooms, plus rooftop views of The Spui Square.
TRIBE Ljubljana, slated for 2027, will merge city vibrancy with cultural richness.
Further ahead, TRIBE Porto Gaia in Portugal will open in 2027, blending modern design with local influences.
TRIBE Rostock in Germany, scheduled for 2028, will offer 157 rooms, a rooftop bar, and a large auditorium for events.
