The new Manna app, built on Flipdish’s advanced restaurant ordering technology, allows users to browse local menus, place food orders, and make payments, all ahead of rapid deliveries made directly from restaurant kitchens to customer doorsteps by Manna’s autonomous drones.

IRELAND – Irish food-tech innovator Flipdish has joined forces with fellow Irish startup Manna Air Delivery to introduce a groundbreaking food ordering and drone delivery application.
The new Manna app, powered by Flipdish’s advanced restaurant ordering technology, lets users browse local restaurant menus, place food orders, and complete payments, all before Manna’s autonomous drones deliver orders rapidly from restaurant kitchens to customer doorsteps.
Manna’s cutting-edge drone fleet is transforming the food delivery landscape by offering “ultra-fast” airborne drop-offs, minimizing wait times and taking traffic, congestion, and traditional road delivery challenges out of the equation.
Deliveries are as quick as three minutes for neighborhoods inside Manna’s coverage areas, allowing customers to enjoy hot food straight from the kitchen without delays or cold meals.
The app provides an intuitive digital ordering experience, where users can explore diverse restaurant options within their community, customize menu items, and seamlessly pay for orders.
Flipdish’s software ensures a robust and secure end-to-end payment journey, integrated with real-time status updates from kitchen to arrival.
This partnership benefits both end-customers and local restaurants. For restaurant partners, integrating into the Flipdish platform provides a digital storefront to showcase menus, manage incoming orders, and reach new audiences through modern delivery methods.
Manna then handles the fulfillment side, launching electric, zero-emission drones from designated hubs, collecting freshly prepared orders, and delivering to customer addresses within minutes.
Manna’s technology is not only designed for speed but also sustainability.
With fully electric drones, the system eliminates delivery-related emissions and reduces road congestion in suburban and urban communities.
The process is also contactless, there’s no need for face-to-face handoffs or doorbells; customers simply watch as their meal descends from the sky.
The solution is already in use in select Irish markets, including Dublin’s Blanchardstown region, and is expanding to new neighborhoods at a rapid pace. Orders can include a wide range of cuisines and are not limited to food, essentials and store goods can also be drone delivered in supported areas.
Flipdish and Manna’s collaboration is not only an Irish tech success story but also a glimpse into the future of last-mile food logistics, combining aviation technology with digital hospitality to offer a scalable, efficient, and delightfully futuristic dining experience.
As drone regulations progress, both companies signal ambitions to scale quickly across Ireland and potentially into other international markets in years to come.
