North Sun Energy will introduce Little Caesars’ popular items at 18 of its gas stations and convenience stores, providing fresh, branded meals for customers on the go.

CANADA – US pizza giant Little Caesars has signed a landmark franchise agreement with fuel and convenience retailer North Sun Energy, setting the stage for a strategic expansion across Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
North Sun Energy will roll out Little Caesars’ signature offerings, including Crazy Bread and HOT-N-READY pizza, to consumers at 18 of its gas stations and convenience store locations, bringing fresh, branded meals to customers on the move.
The initiative integrates the Little Caesars Express model, specifically designed to fit compact retail spaces and streamline food service with as few as two employees.
This partnership demonstrates how the demand for convenient, high-quality food continues to reshape the convenience retail landscape in Atlantic Canada.
North Sun Energy president David Button highlighted the brand’s synergy with the company’s vision, citing the growing appetite for fresh meal solutions at fuel and convenience sites.
He underscored that Little Caesars was chosen for its strong brand recognition, value-driven approach, and potential to enrich the customer experience at North Sun’s diverse network of stores.
Launching its first new outlet at the North Atlantic and Orangestore site in Clarenville, Newfoundland, later this summer, North Sun Energy plans to spread Little Caesars units throughout its network in the coming months and years.
Many new pizza operation points will be co-located within Orangestore convenience stores, enhancing the foodservice options for travelers and local communities alike.
Future sites are expected to include both remodels of existing stores and openings within new builds.
Little Caesars Canada managing director Chloe Battalia emphasized that this collaboration is a significant milestone for Little Caesars’ Canadian growth strategy.
She noted the importance of bringing the HOT-N-READY model and value pizza offering to more non-traditional venues by partnering with trusted local brands.
By leveraging strategic partnerships like North Sun Energy, Little Caesars will further embed its products in the convenience sector and reach new customer segments.
The partnership between Little Caesars and North Sun Energy demonstrates the growing trend of quick-service food brands teaming up with fuel and retail operators to meet evolving consumer expectations.
As the network of integrated pizza outlets develops, Atlantic Canada residents and travelers can look forward to easier access to Little Caesars’ classic menu favorites with every stop at North Sun Energy’s stations.
