Salalah Airport welcomes inaugural Saudi Airlines flight from Jeddah, launching three weekly services for 2025 Dhofar Khareef season

OMAN/SAUDI ARABIA – Salalah Airport in Oman’s Dhofar Governorate today marked a significant milestone with the arrival of the inaugural Saudi Airlines flight from Jeddah, officially commencing thrice-weekly flights between Salalah and Jeddah throughout the 2025 Dhofar Khareef (monsoon) season.

This new air link enhances connectivity between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Oman, offering travelers seamless access to Salalah’s unique monsoon climate and lush landscapes that attract visitors during this celebrated period.

The flights are operated by Saudi Airlines using the Airbus A320 aircraft, known for its modern amenities and passenger comfort.

This expansion aligns with Saudi Airlines’ strategic growth plan to broaden its regional network, which recently included new routes such as the connection to El-Alamein, Egypt.
