TIME Hotels to launch 12 new properties across Middle East, Africa by 2026

The company’s expansion aligns with key national development agendas, including Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which prioritizes tourism diversification, as well as eco-tourism initiatives in Tanzania and Morocco.

MEA – TIME Hotels, the UAE-born hospitality brand, has announced bold global expansion plans ahead of Arabian Travel Market 2025, with 12 new properties set to open across the Middle East and Africa, including Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Morocco, and the Indian Ocean by Q1 2026.

TIME Hotels is setting its sights on reaching a significant milestone of 100 hotels within the next five years, driven by a strategic expansion plan targeting high-growth destinations where tourism plays a vital role in the local economy.

The company’s expansion aligns with key national development agendas, including Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which prioritizes tourism diversification, as well as eco-tourism initiatives in Tanzania and Morocco.

Its latest ventures into Asia also reflect a growing ambition to build a globally recognised hospitality portfolio by leveraging regional success.

TIME Hotels & Resorts, the group’s established premium offering, will continue delivering sophisticated, authentic experiences with a commitment to exceptional service and luxurious comfort, qualities the brand has refined over the past decade.

Simultaneously, Express by TIME, the company’s value-focused brand, will remain essential to the group’s portfolio, offering dependable service, clean accommodations, and affordable prices.

The popular TIME Residences segment is undergoing a strategic reorganisation to cater to diverse guest needs.

It will now be presented in three distinct tiers, Premium, Executive, and Classic—each offering self-catering solutions tailored for short- and long-term stays.

This tiered approach is designed to create a versatile ‘home away from home’ experience for various traveller profiles.

The group’s CEO, Mohamed Awadalla, indicated that, for the first time, all TIME sub-brands would be presented under one roof.

He noted that this move underscores the company’s forward-looking vision and commitment to long-term success.

He also highlighted the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) as a crucial platform to demonstrate the company’s ability to scale internationally while maintaining high service standards and operational quality.

According to him, investor interest continues to grow among those seeking reliable operators with a proven track record and deep market understanding.

Currently, TIME Hotels operates 17 properties across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, encompassing more than 3,000 keys. An additional 12 properties with 5,000 keys are under development.
