EGYPT – Leading hotel brand Hilton has announced the signing of two new properties, Hilton Cairo New Capital Downtown and Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Capital Downtown, in partnership with Panax Company, part of Selim Holding Group.
Set to open in 2028, the announcement aligns with Hilton’s strategy to triple its presence in Egypt and surpass 40 operating hotels nationwide.
The hotels will be positioned along the city’s Green River—a vast, landscaped park inspired by the Nile—just minutes from key landmarks such as government ministries, the Central Bank, the Presidential Palace, and the Central Business District.
With Cairo International Airport just a 30-minute drive away, both properties will offer convenient access for both domestic and international travellers.
Carlos Khneisser, Vice President of Development, Middle East & Africa, Hilton, highlighted the company’s growing commitment to Egypt, noting that the New Administrative Capital offers strong potential as a thriving economic hub.
He expressed excitement about launching these properties to provide exceptional guest experiences in this rapidly evolving urban area.
Hilton Cairo New Capital Downtown will offer 100 stylish guest rooms and suites, designed for comfort and to foster energizing connections.
Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options, including a lobby café, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a pool bar.
The hotel will also feature a 1,000 sqm ballroom and seven multifunctional meeting rooms, catering to conferences, corporate gatherings, and social events.
This property will reflect Hilton’s legacy of hospitality, providing vibrant and authentic experiences for visitors.
Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Capital Downtown will feature 180 guest rooms and a flexible meeting room. The hotel will also have an all-day dining restaurant, lobby bar, and welcoming social spaces for guests to unwind.
Both properties will share facilities, including a fitness centre, spa, outdoor pool, and extensive meeting and event spaces, offering guests a complete range of services.

Hilton plans to triple its portfolio across Egypt, with 27 hotels in the pipeline, including Hilton Cairo New Capital Tower and the recently announced Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk.
