Four Seasons plans global expansion, targets 180 luxury properties by 2033

GLOBAL – Four Seasons has announced plans to expand its portfolio with over 60 projects, aiming for 180 luxury properties by 2033.

Four Seasons is actively expanding its portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts, and residences, redefining the concept of experiential travel across land, sea, and air.

The company’s ambition is to become the world’s largest luxury property operator under a single brand, combining its rich heritage with innovation to meet the ever-changing demands of today’s luxury travellers.

2025 marks a milestone, celebrating 25 years of partnership and investment from the company’s long-standing shareholders: Cascade Investment, Kingdom Holding Company, and Founder and Chairman Isadore Sharp through Triples Holdings.

In the Americas, the Four Seasons Hotel New York recently reopened in late 2024, with the return of Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara scheduled for 2025.

The Naples Beach Club will also relaunch as a Four Seasons property.

A significant restoration project in Cartagena will reveal a new hotel within 16th-century landmarks, and the company will debut in Puerto Rico, taking over a stunning beachside property in Bahia Beach.

Looking ahead, Four Seasons will introduce overwater bungalows on a private island in Belize, a 95-key resort on a 60-acre private estate in the Dominican Republic, the company’s first in the country, a resort in Park City’s Deer Valley East Village, Utah, and an entertainment-driven property in Jacksonville, Florida.

In Europe, the company will enhance its portfolio with the transformation of Venice’s iconic Hotel Danieli and the addition of a new resort in Puglia, Italy.

New resorts are also planned for Mykonos and Porto Heli in Greece, alongside the reopening of Park Gstaad in Switzerland as a Four Seasons property.

In the Middle East and Africa, Four Seasons will unveil several dynamic new properties in Saudi Arabia, including locations in Madinah, Shura Island at The Red Sea, Sindalah Island at NEOM, AMAALA Triple Bay, Jeddah’s Corniche district, and historic Diriyah.

Additionally, two new resorts in Luxor and Madinaty, New Cairo Capital, will open in Egypt, along with a property in Muscat, Oman, and a new resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

In the Asia-Pacific region, exciting developments include projects on Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem Lake, a new skyscraper in Taiwan, a resort in Okinawa, Japan, an expansion in Melbourne, Australia, and new properties in Xi’an and Shanghai, China.
