Deliveroo UAE expands HOP on-demand grocery service to Abu Dhabi in partnership with Choithrams

UAE – Deliveroo UAE has announced the expansion of its HOP on-demand grocery delivery service to Abu Dhabi, in partnership with grocery retailer Choithrams.

Deliveroo has launched its HOP service in Abu Dhabi, expanding its rapid delivery-only grocery offering following a successful introduction in Dubai in 2022.

This move marks a significant step in Deliveroo’s strategy to provide on-demand grocery delivery across the UAE, leveraging advanced grocery management technology, logistics algorithms, and an extensive network of delivery riders.

To celebrate its launch, Deliveroo HOP is offering customers a 50% discount and free delivery on their first orders.

Catering to a new customer base in the capital, Deliveroo HOP in Abu Dhabi offers a broad selection of food and non-food products, including fresh meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, pantry essentials, and household items.

Partnering with Choithrams, the service has been tailored to meet the needs of residents and businesses in various popular areas across Abu Dhabi.

The service is designed to provide time-efficient delivery, prioritizing product freshness and availability, with nearly 100% stock accuracy. This ensures that only in-stock items are available, and any out-of-stock products are automatically delisted to prevent substitutions.

Prashant Talwar, Director of Groceries & Retail at Deliveroo UAE, stated that the launch of Deliveroo HOP in Abu Dhabi was an exciting milestone for the company as it expands its presence across the UAE.

He emphasized that the city’s diverse community made it an ideal next step, and the collaboration with Choithrams has been key to providing customers with a high-quality experience.

Talwar expressed confidence that Abu Dhabi residents would appreciate the convenience that Deliveroo HOP offers.
